Previous off-road driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Our guides provide comprehensive training before departure.

Weather & Altitude

The best seasons are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November) when the weather is clear and stable. Temperatures vary greatly with altitude, ranging from 25°C in lower regions to below freezing at higher elevations. The expedition reaches altitudes over 3,800 meters, so proper acclimatization is built into the itinerary to prevent altitude sickness.

Participants need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a Nepalese visa (available on arrival), an International Driving Permit, and comprehensive travel insurance covering high-altitude adventure activities and emergency evacuation. Special permits for the Mustang region are included in the package and will be arranged by our team.

Physical Requirements

This expedition is rated as challenging and requires good physical fitness. While most activities involve driving, there are opportunities for hiking at high altitudes. Participants should be comfortable with long driving days, basic accommodations in remote areas, and adapting to changing conditions. A medical check-up before the trip is recommended.
